Hi,
Are there any examples of velocity feed forward or acceleration feed forward control schemes in the ControlSUIT?
Best Regards, Johan

Hi!
Do you mean the control scheme for a driving an electromotor? Isn't it?

Igor
Hi!
First of all you should decide about Start Kit for your project, for example (for BLDC & PMSM motors): DRV8412-C2, 8312-69M or 830x-HC (these kits is supported by controlSUITE). Or you have some device for your development already?

Igor
Hi!
Then download controlSUITE if you haven't done it yet. ControlSUITE has example projects for your kit. Atweel you need CCS also.

Igor
Sorry, but I have already done that. What I'm looking for now is an example with velocity feed forward.
Igor, it's not the normal control scheme with current and velocity feedback I'm looking for. That I have already found. What I'm looking for is an example of velocity and acceleration feed forward in order to increase the responsiveness of my control loop.
Hello Johan!
Sorry! But It seems there is a problem of terminology. I know a control scheme with current and velocity feedback. Also at my practice I have dealt with driving of "position feedback". Could you explain your term "velocity and acceleration feed forward" in more detail? Is there any feedback in this control scheme? (Honestly, I imagine bad a control scheme without any feedback). What is the basic principle of this driving? Now I have doubt that I can help you but I am very interested! If you think our dialogue is useless, you can not answer.
Regards,
Igor
Johan,
I am not aware of any examples where we've implemented feed-forward control on any of our motor control kits.
(I do believe that we've done a feed-forward control implementation on one of the digital power converter boards (ie not an inverter). Let me know if you'd be interested and I can see if what I remember seeing actually exists. And see if it can be released.)
Thank you,
Brett
