93LC46B EEPROM on the docking station

Hi everybody,

I've designed a board for our project that contains the USB connection part that I found in the Piccolo docking station documentation. In the first version I used the 93LC46B EEPROM with 6 pins and as I couldn't get the part fast enough, I used one from the original TI docking station. Now I've changed the part to an 8 pins version, coz I can get it faster. The board is unfortunately not working, I can't connect from Code Composer. I've run also xds100serial, but no emulator was detected. I don't know what else to check. Maybe it's a stupid question, but... Does this EEPROM comes with something flashed inside, that is necessary to connect? And that's why I get this problem?

Thanks a lot,

Monica
