PM_Sensorless - Reversing motor direction

Hi,

I am doing the PM_Sensorless project for DRV8312 given in the control suite (C:\ti\controlSUITE\development_kits\DRV8312-C2-KIT_v127\PM_Sensorless). I have successfully completed all the levels. I tested the motor with SpeedRef from 0 to 1. It is working fine. But I am not able to reverse the direction of the motor. For reversing the direction I gave SpeedRef negative. When lsw = 1, the motor rotated in both the direction. When lsw = 2, the motor will rotate only with SpeedRef positive. When SpeedRef is given negative, the DRV fault led glows.

I have tried the same with an encoder feedback. With encoder there is no problem with SpeedRef positive or negative. So what will be the problem with sensorless?
