Dear Experts,
I don't understand the function of ACQ_PS[3:0] bits in TMS320F28335?
When I change it, the sampling rate changes else!
I appreciate for the help.

Ras

Ras-
ACQ_PS is the acquisition pre-scalar. In other words it affects how long the analog signal will be sampled before conversion. Longer sample windows will cause slower sample rates. This should be documented in the TMS320x2833x, 2823x Analog-to-Digital Converter (ADC) Module Reference Guide.
I hope that clears it up,
Joe
Dear Joe,
Thank you for the reply.
Joe Prushing said:how long the analog signal will be sampled before conversion
What does it mean?
Is it mean that the ADC has a buffer?

Ras
Hi Ras,
ACQ_PS[3:0] Acquisition window size. This bit field controls the width of SOC pulse, which, in turn, determines for what time duration the sampling switch is closed.
I hope this clears your doubt.
