Availability of Microcontrollers with EtherCAT

AM335x Sitara ARM MPU is the 1st Processor I refered!!

But my requirement is Microcontroller (MCU) with EtherCAT interface. I am using the Microcontroller in slave configuration in my project (Railways related).

Currently, the boundary between the concepts of "microcontroller" and "microprocessor" blurred enough. Microcontrollers that can be running any operating system (even the most primitive) can be classified as microprocessors soon. But it's a philosophy. With regard to your request С2000 series don't support EtherCAT. But F28M35 supports Ethernet 1588. As for the other TI-series, from the point of view of  EtherCAT support TI has only AM335x. By the way I'm the developer of safe microprocessor interlocking systems for railway transport. What about your project? What is the task? If it is a trade secret that you can not respond.

Since cost is our main concern with customer demand we gotta consider MCUs as slaves with EtherCAT interface.

Let me know, is there any other alternatives like using some EtherCAT controllers with the MCU or availability of EtherCAT controllers having the general features of a MCU?

Your task is now quite clear to me. Of course you need to consider a few options before you make a final decision. Unfortunately I did not have to deal with EtherCAT protocol and therefore can not advise you anything specific. But Web search engines are now powerful enough and I think you will find many options. For example, the first reference I have found on request "MCU with EtherCAT" (except TI-solutions) https://code.google.com/p/medulla/. But I would like to say that my experience with the products of the TI-company tells me that the solution AM335x Sitara ARM MPU is fairly good (about the price can not say anything - not compare with what.) At least from the point of view of good technical support.
