F28335 DMC datalog macro

In HVPM directory I've found: "DLOG4CHC.asm" and "dlog4ch-HVPM_Sensorless.h" I will try them out!

I tested datalog with source code copied from "HVPM_sensorless.c" example. Apparently  datalog works only when I set  #define MATH_TYPE IQ_MATH in "IQmathLib.h". When setting #define  MATH_TYPE  FLOAT_MATH I have troubles with _IQtoQ15 macro, for example:

    DlogCh1 = _IQtoQ15(value);  // DlogCh1 is always zero

this seams reasonable since DlogCh1 is declared as an int16 in the example code and the _IQtoQ15 macro for FLOAT_MATH does.. nothing (#define   _IQtoIQ5(A)    (A)), so we are assigning a floating to an int16.

Is this expected behaviour (datalog working only with IQ_MATH)?

Unfortunatelly I can not provide some documentary basis for the affirmative answer to your question. Thus your positive result is for me the basis only.

Yes the DLOG internally buffers int16 numbers this id done to conserve space, as in some of our devices we have limited RAM space.

The DLOG internals are in assembly and do not use IQ math, hence you will be able to use the macro 

DlogCh1 = _IQtoQ15(clarke1.Bs);
DlogCh2 = _IQtoQ15(clarke1.As);
DlogCh3 = _IQtoQ15(fe1.ThetaFlux);
DlogCh4 = _IQtoQ15(volt1.VphaseA);

where _IQtoQ15 will be conversion from float to IQ,
