Driving Switched Reluctance Motor with DSP

I want to driving a switched reluctance motor, with DSP, i read a Texas Instruments document, dealing with this subject  Switched Reluctance Motor Control  Basic Operation and Example Using the TMS320F240 , but in Texas Instruments  internet site, i read to this DSP does not existe actually ]

Then, what's the new DSP number using for this application, and can you propose me, an interface , for this application (conversion I/O than digital/analogic and inanalogic/digital) what can you propoe me, for my project,
