USB bootloader from a memory stick

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if it was possible to update a F28069 using the USB bootloader and a program stored in a memory stick.

I know that the existing bootloader is only reading data send through USB (via a computer) but do you think such a thing is possible ?

My first thought was to develop a program on the microcontroller that reads the contents of the USB stick memory and flash the device using the data read. But it's not really a bootloader and could be hard to develop.

So I thought that developing a program on the flash stick that sends the .bin file when the USB interface is activated. In this case, the USB bootloader provided by TI can be used.

What do you think about that ?

You have 4 hours, good luck !

Alex.
