Hi,

I have a tested a TMS320F28035 project getting ready to go to production. So far I was using Debug to flash my program.

I was trying to flash my target program using CCS Uniflash 2.2.0. for the first time.

It failed but now I cant use "Debug" on my Code Composer Studio Version: 5.2.1.00018 anymore.

I get the following error message:
C28xx: Error connecting to the target: (Error -233 @ 0x0) The JTAG IR and DR scan-paths cannot circulate bits, they may be broken. An attempt to scan the JTAG scan-path has failed. The target's JTAG scan-path appears to be broken with a stuck-at-ones or stuck-at-zero fault. (Emulation package 5.0.471.0)

Tried Resseting everything 20 times including the computer without success. I am using a Blackhawk USB2000 emulator.

I hope I didn't brick my Piccolo. Can anybody help ???

Danny,

Try another board. That will rule out device damage.

I tried another board today, it works fine, the emulator seems ok. I am short of boards, I would very much like to save the problematic prototype board. Any idea?

Danny,

The evidence points to the device being damaged. Nothing that can be done here. Damage is damage. If you have a good solder technician at your company, they should be able to solder on a new device to the bad board.
