HI Ti,

Looking for a microcontroller that has cortex M3 core or similar power. It has to have Asynchronous PWM. So that the clock jitter doesn’t get transferred to the PWM signal. It is to be used in a communication application. It has to generate 134 KHz or 330 KHz square wave. Would a F28M35H52C Concerto Microcontroller have Async PWM? Or any other suggestions form the TI line up?

With 1 UART

F28M35H52C controller would be perfect for your requirements. Do go through application notes and sample codes before finalizing.

I'm unsure of your exact application, but if the needs are:
-134-330kHz asynchronous PWM
-1 UART
-10-bit ADC

...I might suggest looking at one of the Piccolo microcontrollers as long as using an ARM core is not a must. Something like a F28027, F28035 or F28069 might be a great solution for you. I think that choosing the Concerto F28M35H52C may be overkill. Again more information on the application may be helpful.

Another possible thought might be to look at the Tiva-C family.

Hi!

Sorry for the off-topic but I'm stucked programming with Keil environment. I find some interesting code for Code Composer Studio (CSS) but I can't use it in Keil, could you give me some tips to do so?

Specifically it's about this Labs at TM4C123G_LaunchPad_Workshop:
