Question about application report SPRA902A

Hi,

I just read the application report SPRA902A from http://www.ti.com.cn/cn/lit/an/spra902a/spra902a.pdf .I had hard time to understand the transfer funcation Gvc on page 8 and I think it is important to calculate loop parameters. Would anyone help me to illustrate this? I am wondering do these equations apply to boost converter(not used in PFC)?

    Hi Syu,

    The equations will be the same but the gains will differ. The calculation of loop parameters are critical here and for this you'll have to be thorough with control systems topic.

    Hi Gautam,

    Thanks for your reply. I can understand all other equations but this one. What do you mean by "equations will be the same but the gains will differ"? The expressions for transfer funcation would be the same for just boost converter, but the values are dependent on the paramenter I used in my circuit. Am I right? If so how to do with the term [Vmin/Vmax]2. Since the input voltage of my boost converter is constant, set it as 1?
