eCAP missing first edge

I am using a 28067 Piccolo. After a reset, it seems that eCAP will often miss the very first edge, at least I do not always get an interrupt being triggered. Sometimes it does work. After it misses this first edge, it seems always to work afterwards as far as I can tell. Any ideas why this would happen?

No, I am not using the sample code.

Also maybe something else to note, I am using nonDispatchedInterrupts instead of using Sys/Bios to handle them.

FYI - I found the problem I was having. I had two events, one for a rising edge and one for a falling edge. The problem is that I had event 1 looking for a rising edge, but the first edge coming in was a falling edge. Now if I look for a falling edge first, it is OK.
