BSDL file for TMS320F28335

Hi,

I am trying to use JTAG chain for programming two devices. One is Actel(PROASIC 3) and the other is non actel (28335). For programming non-actel device, a BSDL file is needed. All I could find was a ".bsm" file for 28335. Do you know how to get access to that file or is it even possible to do so?

Hi,

Actually I found the bsdl file for tms320F28335. But that is used to recognize the device. Is there any way I can program the DSP using JTAG chaining ? I am using Flash Pro programmer.

C2000 devices can't be programmed through JTAG commands.

Flash on C28x is programmed by running an algorithm on the device - that is the CPU itself does the programming by executing code. Basically you would need to create a full debug controller in order to program the device this way - this is how code composer studio, the universal flash programmer and codeskin programmer all work.
