Uniflash Issue

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMS320F28062, TMS320F28030, UNIFLASH

Hi,

My customer is using the TMS320F28030 and TMS320F28062 in their application.

And it is very important that they use the 'lock" feature in Uniflash to safeguard their application.

For that need to understand the "Program Password" and the "Lock" features that appear in the Uniflash.

What customer has done is as below -

1. In the "Code Security Password" section of Flash Settings page, they have modified the Key7 and Key 0 to 1234 instead of the default value of FFFF.

2. Clicked "Program Password". ---> Process successful.

3. Tried to reprogram and erase flash ---> Process successful.

4. Repeat Step 1 and 2.

5. Clicked "Lock"---> Error 1015 @ 0x0.

6. After this the device seems to be permanently locked and o other functions work. I saw somewhere its mentioned to try with the "Enable Verbose Mode". But this doesnot work also.

Request you to please help with the same.

Thanks.

Sum.
