emulator conncetor error

i have installed CCS v3.3 but i am unable to eastablish a connection between ezdsp kit and CCS. this the message i get when i try to connect

 

Error initializing emulator

I/O Port = 540

Board Name: F28335_eZdsp
Cpu Name: cpu_0

Abort:  Close Code Composer Studio.
Retry:  Try to initialize the emulator again.
Ignore:  Ignore the initialization error and start
  potentially without target debugging access.
Diagnostic: Run diagnostic utility.

the emulator I used is XDS510 USB PLUS. the Board is 28335ezdsp or 28335 control card.

By the way, in the ccs setup, when I choose the xds510 USB PLUS, there is no 28335 board in the factory boards column.

    It sounds like you are missing appropriate driver for 28335 - have you installed XDS510USB driver for 28335? You may need to download the driver from Spectrum Digital website or your eZdsp board CD should also have the correct driver.
