HI.
I Need an example of software / firmware for implementing the ADS131E08 as a polyphase power. meter.

 I will use the "TMS320F28027 - Piccolo Microcontroller;" to interface the ADS131E08 and make calculations of power and frequency.

Could someone point me to some technical document about this?

    Yes, I have the datasheets and also components.

    These components are part of SMART GRID KIT , which are components listed in this link:

    I'm looking for a reference design that utlize the ADS131E08.

    My intention is to use the ADS131E08 like a AFE to a polyphase power meter.

    HI!

    I see. Unfortunately I can't suggest some ready design.

    1 I have looked at your link. Did you try to request TI? If TI presents this solution then TI have to support of its development.

    2 It seems controlSUITE doesn't contain some suitable examples (except SPI example projects).

    3 On other side this task does not seem very difficult for development even "from zero": the communication with ADC via SPI and the small mathematical calculation of power: U*I*sinF.
