problem with CCS dual time graph tool

Hi,

I am trying to plot a dual time graph to compare two waveforms using CCSv4. I created two arrays, each with size of 400, and I store my desired data in them as buffers. In the Graph Properties window, I set acquisition buffer size and display data size to be 400 and the names of two buffers to be the two starting addresses. Then I set the Q value and sampling frequency correctly. But the two graph windows don't output any graphs, just a line at value of 0. I tried to reduced the acquisition buffer size to be 100, in this case the graphs can output correctly. What is going on with the plotter?

Hi,

This shouldn't happen, according to the following thread there should be no issue for acquisition buffer size upto 512.

Hi Gautam,

This is my code of loading data to buffer

while (BufferTicker > (BufferSize-1))

{

BufferTicker = 0;

}

Buffer[BufferTicker] = vclarke.As;

Buffer1[BufferTicker] = vclarke.Bs;

BufferTicker++;

The code is executed every time ISR is called. The two buffers are named Buffer and Buffer1.

Actually I have tried to use a single buffer with size 800 to watch a single variable and it works all right. I just can't figure out why I cannot use a dual time plot.
