Hello,
I am working on a phase shift controlled converter using 4 HRPWM modules in sync. I would like to be able to control precisely the phase and CMPA registers with high resolution. In order to do this I have enabled the HR period control. It is documented in the HRPWM User Guide section 2.3.4.1 that there is a jitter when using a sync signal continuously (CTR=zero) during HR period control. Then how does one change the phase and avoid this jitter? If I am not changing the frequency will I experience this jitter?
It says there will be a +/- 2 cycle jitter in up-down count mode. How often does this jitter occur? Does it occur on all 4 modules or just the one outputting the sync on CTR=zero?
Thanks,
Kelly
