How CPU can access the memory allocated to CLA at the first time (F2806x)

Hello,

I have noticed in different posts that by setting the MMEMCFG[RAMxCPUE] = 1 or by configuring the complete register

MMEMCFG.all = 0x0100, the memory can be accessed by the CPU.

However, I want to know the correct sequence of configuring the register and where this configuration is done (main ?)

Do we need to disable all the interrupts and clear the MIER and MIRUN registers before the CPU can access the memory blocks?

Thank you for your input.

I read the links you mentioned but still I'm unsure where to configure the bits.

Currently, I allow the Data RAM to the accessed by CLA and CPU both during the CLA initialisation. As an example, I have created a variable in DataRAM (which is accessible by both CLA and CPU). I increment the variable in CLA and after a certain value I reset the variable to zero in the main.c().

It seem to me that CPU cannot write into the Data RAM and I see the variable value (in the debugger) same as the initialised value.

Any guess what I might be doing wrong?
