28335 Flash Problem

Hi,

We are using f28335 processor and Code Composer Studio v3.3. When we tried to do On-chip flash programming after including the Non-Bios flash command file, the chip got locked. On retry, it required a password for unlock. On giving 0xFF, it was not accepted.On compiling the code, there was this warning appearing:

"One or more sections of your program falls into memory region that is not writable. These will not actually be written to the target. Check your linker configuration and/or memory map"

The code did not run from flash and the chip is getting locked every time. Is there any Tech support for TI in Chennai to help us out?! We would like to contact the concerned technical person in this regard.

Did you try unlocking the chip using CCS Uniflash???

You have two problem going here:-

1) you have somehow got device locked. you need to unlock the device before trying to program / erase the flash.

2) The linker commond file you are using is trying map certain section of your code into non-writable memory. Change your .cmd file to correct this issue.

Note: Both these issues aren't related to each other.
