On board flash writing for 320F28027/35 through SCI port

Hi,

Please give the details of software and hardware connections for programming the 320F28027/35 controllers using SCI port. I don't want to use JTAG.

Toop, there are several options here:

You can purchase a low-cost elprotronic FlashPro2000 flash programmer (programs via SCIA-BOOT mode - uses SCI RX, TX pins, a GND and possibly VDDIO pin)- http://www.elprotronic.com/flashpro2000.html Note this tool includes both JTAG AND SCI programming options.

You can use the free C2oooProg codeskin tool which programs via your RS232 connection. (http://www.codeskin.com/c2oooProg.html) Download link and Manual are on the left of that page.

Thanks for your fast reply. I am more interested in codeskin tool option. This give easy field update of firmware. I will try it as you have suggested.
