Sticker on C2000 Launch Pad PCB

I have two C2000 Launch Pads. Each has one rectangular sticker on its PCB; one is labeled 28027MK009002 and one is labeled 28027MK009288. My question is: Does every C2000 Launch Pad shipped have such a sticker on its PCB, and if so is the number printed on the sticker unique? I'm asking because my students use these kits, and I'd like to know if this sticker might be a good way to associate a particular board with a particular student.

I can't say for certain, but I'm ~99% sure these numbers are unique. These stickers were placed on the boards by the CM. Looking at the ones I have here, they appear to be a serial number.

I am pretty sure the sticker ID# is unique.
