EPWM Dead-band Generator Submodule

Hi,

Before answering to your question, I would like some clarifications. Check with the following condition :

Generating appropriate signal pairs (EPWMxA and EPWMxB) with dead-band relationship from a
single EPWMxA input

So these are the 2 signals you're talking about, right?

 What is the reaction of the counter if a second EPWM edge is deteceted before the counter is back to zero?

How are you simulating this condition?

Hi Gautam,

I am using only EPWMxA input and the dead-band submodule generates EPWMxA and EPWMxB on Active High Complementary mode ( EPwm1Regs.DBCTL.all = 0x000B;).

My concerning is that the application I am working asks for an update of CMPA and TBPHS register at any moment of the TBCTR (not only at TBCTR=0 and = TBPRD). So it can generates a pulse on the EPWMxA that is smaller than the Rising/Falling Edge counter.

Ohhk... According to me it should restart counting! Both being active high at the same time would hamper the system.

I appreciate your input, but I really need a confirmation about the behavior of the Rising/Falling edge counter.

The reference guide of the TMS320F28069 does not have any description about it , besides it is a 10-bit counter.
