communication between microcontroller and PC via USB

Note: for USB based communication you'll need FTDI chip and for Serial RS-232 communication you'll need MAX232 chip or similar one. 

So I guess you would like to consider RS-232 based serial communication with PC, right?

I would like to directly use the USB connection (USB Pin pin USB D + and D -).

The problem is that I do not know how to read the data on the PC. There are some. dll or driver provided by TI ?

If I understand you need "USB sniffer". You can find these applications in Web. For example:

Just download TI ControlSUITE. You should be able to find USB CDC example there.

I'm trying to find something to install on my PC able to transfer the information received via USB in Matlab or Excel

Sniffer for USB seems to me interesting. Quakcuno tested it to others?
Any other ideas?

I was thinking of something like V-Usb existing for AVR microcontrollers

or similar instruments in «MCHPFSUSB \ Pc \ Mpusbapi." de microchip ...

If you have CDC device all you need is:

• Matlab http://www.mathworks.de/matlabcentral/fileexchange/12526
• Excel: Pyserial http://pyserial.sourceforge.net/ to write a script logging serial data to CSV file
• Excel: alternatively you can write VBA script to collect serial data http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/7ya7y41k.aspx
