I plan to design a controller for a Crane-hoist type constant load and require high torque at start-up and require a variable speed profile like an elevator and ride of the load should be bumpless. So what are the differences between instaspin-foc vs instaspin-motion and which should i choose to accomplish my task? I plan to use acim but may use pmsm too, using encoder is not a problem but it would be good to use sensorless option but not a must. Thanks.
