I use differents Microcontrollers of texas instruments.
During the years that I have used C28 family NEVER I have had a real problems. Just the problem like multiprocess bit in communication that is possible resolve taking care with the software or Encoder capture interrupts on C2811 or C2812.
I have used the F28335 in a project that has a very good result. In that case, the develop was using the periphericals of the microcontroller. Never I have had problem in erasing process. And Never appeared that the microcontroller was in limp mode.
But now, I am using the same F28335 in an other board. In this case, I need a FPGA connected to the microprocessor with XINTF 16 pins connection. I start to take PROBLEMS with Erasing process. Some time appear the FLash API Error#24. I am very sure that I do not have power problems during erasing process. Sometimes appear that the F28335 are in limp mode when I start the connection with JTAG XDS510 USB.
My question is:
Is problably that the use of external connection XINTF does the microcontoller FAILS? Is necessary take care of the external device connected to the microcontroller during the erasing process? Is probrably that everything that I have observed is a coincidence?
In case of the problem is the XINTF. exist other microcontroller that not has this FAILS. Or are you making a review of F28335?
