TMS320F280X, Flashing serial numbers to OTP

Hello.

I'm searching for an easy way to flash individual serial numbers to OTP during production.

Software is flashed via JTAG XDS510 interface by SDFlash command line programmer.

Does anybody know a way like that to bring a unique number into OTP without compiling individual source code?

Hi Jens,

The way you're inquiring about would save a lot of time; but I'm sorry to inform as per my knowledge one has to compile every time to get an unique id. Do share if you find an alternate way :)

Hello Jens,

One way that you might do this is to program with an output .hex file and a script.

The script would do text replacement in the .hex file and then call the desired tool to program the device with this hex file. You'd then repeat.
