tms320f28335 flash programming

Hi all,

I have written code for single phase inverter control. When I run it normally (not from the flash memory), it works pretty fine but when running from the flash it shows half the frequency of PWM channels. I dont know whats the problem. Could anyone please help me?

Hi!

Perhaps a performance is not enough and you need to apply copying time-critical sections into RAM. Refer please to these materials

Hi Brij,

Do refer to what Igor has mentioned, also this is what I've to comment about the above issue:

PWM frequencies totally depends on your configuration/ initialization. Running from RAM/FLASH should not have any impact on PWMs. Please check with the clock settings.

Hi Gautam,

Thanks for the reply.The same program is working when I don't run it from flash. So I don't think there is problem with the clock settings. But for confirmation I will get it checked and let u know.

Sure, btw I did check with one of my PWM implementations; both RAM and FLASH work perfectly for the same configuration.
