Greetings DSP Champs!

I have had three unsuccessful attempts to install controlSUITE3.2.2setup.exe.  I have apparently successfully downloaded the zip file (sprca85.zip) from the TI website.  When I unzip and try to install control suite controlSUITE3.2.2setup.exe (this is executable I get when I unzip the downloaded file) I get a permanent hour glass.

Can you please advice on what I may be doing wrong!

More importantly, I have the option of using Flash APIs from the V2.10 release but would prefer to use the latest release.  Can you advice if there are any significant improvements in the version of the Flash APIs that I might find in the 3.2.2 version of the Control suite.

    Hello!

    1 Try right click on EXE and choose "run as Administrator".

    2 You can try web online installation at last.

    Hi Krishna,

    Which OS are you using? Secondly while installing, please deactivate your anti-virus and firewall. Also always run the setup.exe files from TI by Right clicking on the exe file -> Click on "Run as Administrator"

    Do inform if any of these work.

    Thanks for the feedback.  My laptop is running Windows XP.  I don't see the Run as administrator option.  The act of right clicking to look for the option of system administrator give me the lovely and permanent hour glass.

    Also the web installer does not work for me.

    Actually I am more importantly interested in knowing if there is a significant difference between the 28335 FLASH APIs between the version 210 released in 2008, and the version that is available via the latest version3.2.2 of the control suite.  That is all I need to know first.  If there is no difference or nothing that will impact the 28335, then I am good for now.

    Hi Krishna!

    1 controlSUITE 3.2.2 contains the same 210 version of Flash API for F28335 . You can check that through my attachment 8611.28335.rar

    2 If your OS is WinXP then the notice on option "run as Administrator" is not actual.
