Hi,

I have a board with two TMS320F28335PGFA DSP chips needed to program and have a 14-pin JTAG interface for this two chips. These two DSP chips are connected in chain with JTAG connector interface.

I have a .H86 file from my customer and would like to program this .H86 file on two DSP chips.

I used XDS100V2 JTAG emulator with CCS V5.5 and are able to successful connection to these on-board two DSP chips.

My question is

How can I program .H86 file into two DSP chips? Two DSP chips will be programmed with the same .H86 file.

With XDS100, programming two similar controllers simultaneously.... !!??? Never tried.

-> Did you try with the parallel JTAG connections?

No. I didn't try with the parallel JTAG connections. And our current board layout is with two DSPs in chain.

I have a successful test connection on both DSPs with CCS and XDS 100.

I just want to know how I can program firmware files on two DSPs.

Any other S/W tool I can use?

Perhaps the Uniflash utility will be useful for this purpose.
