TMDSHVMPPTKIT with 400Vdc

Hello All,

Can anyone advice on how to get TMDSHVMPPTKIT work with 400Vdc input when connect to Grid(220V system)?

Hi Knighty,

The above kit is ranged for: 200-300VDC Input up to 500Watts

Altering this configuration is not recommended. But if you're done with the board and want to experiment with 400V then you'll have to comply with the component ratings for eg. replace the caps with lower ratings, switching components etc. Check the schematics and BOM with a design engineer thoroughly before taking any step.

The purpose of the TMDSHVMPPTKIT is largely to take in Solar Panel input and convert it to an isolated 400Vdc bus.

This seems to be quite different from the application you are looking to do. Depending on what you're looking to output there are probably more appropriate C2000 application kits. (for example the TMDSHV1PHINVKIT: 400Vdc to AC output; TMDSHVPSFBKIT: 400Vdc to 12Vdc; etc)
