I just bought a F28335 development kit and would like to explore the automated code generation from simulink. I am quite comfortable in C, but I am curious about the code generation tools. I am apprehensive about the code generation though. I am wondering if anyone has used the code generation tools in a large project effectively? Are there any impacts on the effectiveness, are there any drawbacks or is it really as good as it is advertised. I have grown quite fond of the control that C provides, but if the code generation is as effective as is marketed, I would like to explore the option.
