I have recentl used CCS 5.x for the C28335 and am familiar with CCS install and the c28x I have just started a new project that uses the 2811 an older variant in the C2000 family. I just want to verify that CCS5.5 and controlSUITE for C2000 Software Library are valid for 2811 processor. When doing a custom install I see only an option for c28xx tools and I dont want any compatability issues. i also see that the control suite referenced above contains Piccolo, Delfino and Concerto drivers
I have worked with the 2812 about 6 years ago and no its similar to the c28x in most aspect but I dont want any issues
Specifically I am asking
1) Will CCS 5.5 install using c28xx tools work for 2811 with no issues or do I need an older version?
and
2) will these control suite examples be valid as well with 2811
