Error in compiler in ccs v5

Hi,
when i try to upload the project from control suite on ccsv5 , it shows an Error.

See details below.
Error: Import failed for project 'Example_F2802xLaunchPadDemo' because its compiler definition is not available. Please install the C2000v6.1 compiler before importing this project.

i am using TMS320F28027.

i tried to find out compiler but i think it's already installed. can anyone please suggest from where i can install the above compiler.

If you have a version 6.1.x compiler installed it will be at your main installation directory under tools\compiler.

Ex: here's mine for my CCSv5p5 installation.

C:\ti\ccsv5p5\ccsv5\tools\compiler

I'm guessing you have a new CCSv5p5 install that onlyh has compiler 6.2.x, correct?

You should be able to make a compiler change to 6.2.x (you should install and use 6.2.3 if you don't have it already) in the properties - general - compiler version of the project setting though.
