F28335 experimenters kit connection to target problem

Hi I have bought my delphino kit,(control card, docking station and a CD)..... i have installed CCS5.1 and used the 90 days trial version on my 32 bit windows 7. I set my target configuration as xds emulator 100. when ever i press the button test connection, it gives error and reason it gives is valid device drivers couldnot be located.... what i must do to solve this...?????? please help me out.. i am stuck in this for last 4 days. i have tried installing CCS in my D:\ directory, but it didnt work. thanx in advance

Also, i have tried installing CCS 3.3 , the same problem is persisting, same error occurs. am i doing some sort of mistake...??

Hi Usman,

First of all, change the license configuration; for C2000 kits With XDS100 license is free until you use the kit. So please switch over to the same by going to help -> CCS licensing information....

Also please check your computer's Device manager; if there exist a yellow alert symbol on the XDS100 device then you'll have install them properly.

thanxxx alott gautam.... u rocked.. my windows was detecting USB port as dual serial port.. I installed CDM 2.08.30 and all things started working,.... :) :) :)
