CCS5 failed to load Program in F28069

Hi,

I am using CCS 5.5 and my custom board F28069

I have imported example bios project Flash Hello word for F28069 in CCS5.5 my custom board. While building project, there is no error or warning.

However while loading program to the controller , I get the following erros:

C28xx: Flash operation timed out waiting for the algorithm to complete. Operation cancelled.
C28xx: GEL: File: D:\TI_workspace_v5_5\fc3r3_test1\Debug\fc3r3_test1.out: Load failed.

What could be the problem?

The program loads properly on CCS4.2.

I have also try to migrates program from CCS4.2 yo CCS5.5 but still error occurs at debugging.

Hi Naresh,

I hope your target configuration is correct. Also check your cmd file once.

Thanks Gautam,

My target configuration is correct, and also check cmd file that is same as I had wrote in ccs4.

There is no problem of depletion also. because when i tried to debug, flash erasing is not getting started and come error which is mention above.

also same chip is programable using ccs4.

Is there any example bios flash project for F28069 in ccs5.5?

DSPBIOS (v5) was the previous name for SYSBIOS (v6) and there is at least one DSPBIOS example for the F28069 (see lab 14):

The following would be beneficial for bridging the gap and generating your own project:

If it were me, I believe I'd start with the second link I provided because the software structure is more similar to most of our other example projects (means you can leverage more, more easily) and it uses the more recent SYSBIOS. NOTE: I would also recommend using the more recent header files found in controlSUITE as opposed to the files from "C2833x/C2823x C/C++ Header and Peripheral Examples".

Admittedly I am not an expert on SYSBIOS so it is possible there is a more perfect example for you or other people have better ideas. Perhaps someone else will respond.
