For F28027, is it possible to connect one master to multi-slaves using SPI?

Hello all,

I am wondering, is it possible to connect SPI of F28027 as master to two slaves (for example temperature chip and another F28027)?

This picture below describes the illustration (but I will only use 2 slaves in my case).

(Note: this picture is not mine, it is from http://www.engscope.com/pic24-tutorial/12-1-spi-basics/)

I know it is possible for MSP430 by using 2 GPIOs as CS (chip select) by reading this http://e2e.ti.com/support/microcontrollers/msp430/f/166/t/258206.aspx.

But I am not sure for Piccolo, since it has determined SPISTEA pin.

If it is possible, how to do it?

Can I use one more GPIO as another SPISTEA pin?

Thanks in advanced!

Best regards,

Maria
