Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMS320F28335
Hello...
I'm intending to make a system that drives a color touch LCD with high quality performance, I have an experience on one type of LCDs from topway "LMT035DNAFWU_NAA_TS" it is good but small 3.5" and not suitable for video.
I need the system to be able to:
1) play video (7" to 10" LCD size)
2) display images, scroll images fast (similar to the iPhone or Android mobile phones)
3) display 3d graphics (that represents some hardware controls) and accept touch to perform the action
4) capacitive touch is recommended but if not possible resistive is accepted
5) the host microcontroller is NOT in BGA package to simplify the PCB and soldering
6) communicates with other units in the boards via UART protocol
I have a complete lab for the MSP430 microcontrollers but i know that it can't afford the required performance.
What I need is:
1) advice of a suitable microcontroller to host the system, advice of the recommended programming / debugging hardware tool and IDE if not IAR
2) advice of a recommended LCD (7" to 10")
3) advice of a recommended touch screen controller (if possible)
4) advice if any library available to support graphics and reduce the time needed to develop the system
I've searched TI website to find a solution but it seems that TI has many powerful microcontrollers, most of them are in BGA package, so it'll be great to have a support from the TI e2e community.
Thank you all,
Mina
