I'm development intelligient lighting product with PLC G3,i have completed HCT
protocol over MSP430F5419A,and G3 management client and event monitor client on
DC over AM335x.To be able to communication with each other(between client and
DC),i followed
below steps.
1)client initialized some config.
2)client run discover network,and received response with PAN ID from DC
3)client attached to DC with returned PAN ID
4)the detach command was sent to event monitor client first,and attach command
was sent toevent monitor client secondly by DC.in the attach command,the short
address and ext address were sent.the ext address was the same with client
setting,but short address was changed during diffrent attach.so I do not
understand a lot of problems about G3,the detail is described as bellow.
1)according to unicast communication,DC using ipv6 address to address device,
ipv6 address is composed of short address and PAN ID,please refer to attached image
,but short address is not fixed,so how can
DC access the same client during different attch?
2)on the client side,i can just only set long address,the short address
is allocated dynamically by DC,so how to realize the unique addressing?
3)Is long address the same with ext address?if not,how to map long address
to ext address?
4)During communication,how can DC know received data is come from witch
client? because i can not get the client's address.
5)If mutilcast is used,how is the group address created and set?Is the client
wicthit is not included in the group address able to receive data?how client is
able to receive data during multicast?
