eZDSP F28335 - Error initializing emulator

Hi,

    I am running my VnV tests on eZDSP F28335 Digital spectrum board. Actually i am running my tests through RTRT tool. And i m using CCS V5.3 compiler. When i run my test node in RTRT the test is getting compiled but it is not getting connected to the target. It is saying "Error Initializing Emulator".

   I tried both USB and JTAG to interface the target board and PC. But it is giving the same problem. So many times i tried to reset the hardware, but it is not working.

  Can anybody pls help me on this?

    Hello Iswarya,

    Have you verified that you have the correct connection for your target configuration file?   Go to View > Target Configuration, double click the target configuration file (extension .ccxml)  then verify connection is set to "Spectrum Digital DSK-EVM-eZdsp onboard USB Emulator".  If using an external emulator, then make sure you have it change this option to the JTAG emulator you are currently using.
