Does not TMS320F28377D have EMU0,EMU1 pins?

In the Pin description of TMS320F28377D Datasheet, EMU0/EMU1 pin of JTAG Signal is missing.

I can`t find it. But F28377D ControlCard`s schematics has included them.

 

Does EMU pins add to next revision?

    Like many members of the Piccolo family, the F2837xD family of MCUs do not have EMU0/EMU1 pins.  We will not add these in a future revision to this device.

    ---

    I agree that this is unclear in the schematic and will make a note to improve this.

    In general: A:U3 & A:U11 are unnecessary for F2837xD devices.

    In Silicon Errata,

     

    But F28377D ControlCARD has 20MHz Crystal in schematic. And, real board too. 

    Which one is right?

    Of course ControlCARD is good acting, no problem.

    The errata takes precedence.  

    From a practical perspective, you probably won't run into any issues using the control card to evaluate the F2837xD device; we aren't saying that it definitely won't work, just that there is a possibility it could fail under some worst case conditions.  If you want to start qualifying a design using the F2837xD, you should follow the errata guidance to make sure it works every time, under all possible operating conditions.

    Hi, I’m recently designing a minimum system board of F28377D, and have the same question. the Control Card schematic confuses me.

    I still cant figure out what should I do if A:U3 & A:U11 are are unecessary.

    Since F28377D dosen‘t have EMU0/1 pins,  to where should I connect the Pin 13 &14 of the JTAG header ?or should them be left unconnected?

    In your case, pin 13 and pin 14 of your JTAG header should each be pulled-high with a 4.7Kohm resistor.
