Regarding the TI-PLC-PLCLITE software, what is the minimum Piccolo device that can be ran with it? The recommended evaluation uses an F28035, but could an F2802x work?

Also, with our newer SOMPLC-F28PLC83 SOM, where can the schematics and gerbers be found? They don't seem to be listed on the product page, or in ControlSUITE.

It's interesting because the part on the SOM is labeled as a TMS320F28PLC83, but there are other references to that just being an F28069, and we don't even have a product page for the former part number. Is it the case that the F28PLC83 is some modified version of an F28069?

    I bought 2 SOMPLC-F28PLC83 and can't find the schematics nor the firmware source.

    I plan to use it in one of my student's design.

    Please tell me if you find it.

    Who can i call to ask for these documents ?

    I had these same questions.  I e-mailed a request for the F28PLC83 SOM schematic to plc_support@list.ti.com and they sent it to me quickly.   I believe the F28PLC83 is the module (SOM), and the F28069 is the DSP that's used on the module.  The names seem to be used interchangeably in the PLC documents/pages  (along with C2000 and piccolo?  I'm still a little confused by the branding ...)

    I have 2 modem SOMPLC-F28PLC83 and can't find the firmware source?

    How the best way to test (configuration and data transfer) modules? 

    To test the module, the connection request to the pin out of the module with the external board?

    I put my two SOMPLC-F28PLC83 modules on boards with mains and 2 RS232 (SCI-A and SCI-B) interfaces and want to put them in communication.

    Is there an example firmware I can flash with codeskin ? I downloaded the G3, G3DC, PRIME, PRIMEDC and PCLite examples but the doc refers to other kits, not the SOMPLC ...
