Error -150 @ 0x0

Hi

i am using c2000 launch pad(F28027)  to generate complementary pwm with dead band. These pulses are used to drive the mosfets in DC-DC converter. one of the mosfet is  at low side and another is at higher side. I am using isolated gate driver with isolated power supply to drive these mosfets.  SL7407 buffer ic  is used between c2000 launch pad and and opto coupler . Launch pad is powered through usb cable .I am getting following error  when i am increasing my input voltage of the dc to dc converter from 12V to 24V.

"C28xx: Error: (Error -150 @ 0x0) One of the FTDI driver functions used during configuration returned a invalid status or an error. (Emulation package 5.1.73.0)"-  Please tell me how to overcome this problem.

C28xx: Trouble Halting Target CPU: (Error -150 @ 0x0) Internal error: Invalid error code. Restart the application. If error persists, please report the error. (Emulation package 5.1.73.0)

C28xx: Unable to determine target status after 20 attempts

"C28xx: Failed to remove the debug state from the target before disconnecting.  There may still be breakpoint op-codes embedded in program memory.  It is recommended that you reset the emulator before you connect and reload your program before you continue debugging"

  • Shelas, try uninstalling the drivers and re installing them. This might solve your problem.

    Keep me informed.

  • Hi

i tried with another 28027 kit and the problem remains.Drivers are configured a shown in troubleshooting section.  i am using the codes given in  c2000 teaching ROM for complementary pwm with dead band. But the switching frequency is 100 kHz . when i am connecting the power circuit , then the error coming. with out power circuit i am getting pwm output. so i hope code given in teaching rom is not making the problem. it may due to some noise from my power circuit.

please tell me how can i connect separate power supply to c2000 launchpad . so that i will get JTAG isolation .In that case i hope my problem may solve.

If you check the schematics, Vusb is fed to LDO which inturn powers both on-board emulator and controller. I don't think your PC usb port would propagate any noise to launchpad. Did you observe any noise (in Launchpad) on DSO?
