F2812 Unrecoverable emulation error

We are using an 'F2812 in a board that has been running for over a year.  Recently we had to make some repairs to the system, and now I can no longer connect Code Composer to the processor.  I receive an "Unrecoverable emulation error".  My emulator is an SD510 PP+.

Interestingly, the processor responds to the SDConfig program.  Also, the program runs from Flash normally.  I just can't connect to it with Code Composer.  I have connected to other systems with the emulator today, so everything else seems to be working normally.

My questions are:

1) Could the DSP be damaged, and still respond to the JTAG scan and run from Flash?

2) Is there some pattern I can look for in the JTAG data with my logic analyzer to know why it is failing?

Regards,

Bill
