Hi!

I have a standalone board with TMS320F2812 and SPI EEPROM. I can't understand what I need to write in F2812.cmd file in diifferent sections to load program into RAM.

Or should I use another .cmd file? Can you show me working example of .cmd file that provides loading microcontroller from SPI EEPROM?

Hi,

Here's a doc that would guide you step by step to copy sections of your code to RAM:

2437.Flash to RAM.pdf

To summarize:

Instead of F2808, its F2812 in your case.

Well, I ran blinkLED example on EZDSP board. The program is sitting in on-chip Flash memory of F2812. But I need to load it from external SPI EEPROM. Now it doesn't work on my standalone board.

If I understand right the external program must be loaded into on-chip RAM and then executed? Or bootloader can load it into on-chip Flash?

Maybe there is some datasheet how to configure project for SPI boot mode?
