May precision source be offered by ADCREFIN before the power supply of TMS320F28235 is supplied?

Hello,

I have a question by the treatment of ADCREFIN at the time of power up of TMS320F28235.

Before Vdd1a18, Vdd2a18, and Vdda2 are supplied, even if precision source is supplied to ADCREFIN, doesn't a problem occur in device?

Hi Hidetaka,

The above pins denote the ADC power and Ground pins; so until the ADC module is powered ON there is no meaning in applying precision source to ADCREFIN.

First power on the ADC module and then apply the reference voltage.

If ADCREFIN is not supplied after all after power supply supplying to an ADC module, will I give a device a damage?

Hidetaka-san, the device will not get damaged until you go over Absolute Maximum Ratings. Here are the Absolute and Recommended Ratings for your controller:

Hidetaka,

The absolute maximum input voltages only apply when the device is powered.

It is NOT recommended to put a voltage greater than a diode drop on any digital or analog pin prior to power up. Smaller voltages can cause unexpected behavior, large voltages can cause damage:
