Dear all


I am looking For micro controller development board By TI fro solar tracking application. My algorithm involves mathematical calculation , It do double precision floating point calculation. 

And also let me know any IDE work similar to arduino. I found ENergia IDE but it has limited no of boards.Is there any alternate IDE available with library functions???

Which IDE is good for programming For texas instrument??

Is any simulator available??

I am looking at least 6 analog ios , 16 Digital IOS, 2 PWM signal , 2 hardware  interrupts

    Hi Ajit,

    You can check out C2000 launchpad, though it has a fixed point mcu TMS320F28027 but is perfect for your application. You can use the TI's CCS IDE with controlSuite. controlSuite is the software which has all examples, solar mppt libraries etc for C2000 devices.

    Like in Arduino mainly i am looking for wire , Tinygps,LiquidCrstal library ETC

    Sorry, misread it. So solar tracking for panels, where panels will track the positioning of the sun right?

    I'm not familiar with the libraries mentioned above, can you be more specific as in what features in the librray you're looking for.

    Tiva C Series LaunchPad (EK-TM4C123GXL) and C2000 LaunchPad (LAUNCHXL-F28027) which board will meet my requirement

    Can you also suggest me Motor Driver for DC motor that can capable to drive motor @ 24 v DC , 5A-8A current with back emf protection . If you know any product such share me link.

    Is any update. Can Tiva C series Suit my requirement. i can post my code Here which in purely in C.Here i am attaching My c code for reference. For these Kind of calculation Which controller is best. I already Tested on Chip Kit UNo32 .Where it is working fine with 0.02 degree offset.

    Ajit, for motor driving application there are dev kits available. You can refer the design sheets of such boards and decide accorrdingly. C2000 would be a better option if compared with TIVA series.

    Ajit instead of me telling you, it would be better if you compare both the devices. This will clear all your doubts whether really require TIVA or not!
