Startup time with Offsets and Rs Recalibration

Hi,

Is there a way to reduce the Startup time with Offsets and Rs Recalibration?

For offset Recalibration, i can only find that It will take 5 seconds, is it possible to reduce it?

For Rs recalibration,there is some information in Literature Number: SPRUHJ1B :

pUserParams->RsWaitTime[EST_Rs_State_RampUp] = (uint_least32_t)(1.0*USER_EST_FREQ_Hz);
pUserParams->RsWaitTime[EST_Rs_State_Fine] = (uint_least32_t)(3.0*USER_EST_FREQ_Hz);

Is it dangerous to reduce those value?

You found it for RsRecal (there is also a coarse setting)

No, it is not dangerous, you just need to tune (reduce the time while still stable / accurate) for your motor. It is very likely you can reduce to <2 sec.

see section 6.5.4 of SPRUHJ1

I have reduce the RsRecal and it works fine.

For the offset recalibration, is it possible to reduce it?

Yes, this time can also be reduced by changing the highlighted value (which shows 5 seconds as default).

pUserParams->ctrlWaitTime[CTRL_State_OffLine] = (uint_least32_t)( 5.0 * USER_CTRL_FREQ_Hz);

Make sure you get a stable value within the time you configure here.
