I am planning to synchronize EPWM modules in multiple TMS320F28335 DSCs. The requirement is that, each DSCs TBCTR should reset to zero and start counting up on receipt of EPWM pulse.
I have the following queries.
Is the EPWMSYNCI pin, active high or low?
What could be the maximum pulse width EPWMSYNCI pulse?
Does the carrier "TBCTR" sync happen at the raising of EPWMSYNCI pulse?
Does longer EPWMSYNCI pulse, keep the carrier in reset condition? This can cause distortion of pulse width. Is this situation probable to happen?
