Our cusotmer has the folllowing question:
Is the 16bit ADC present on these TMX first revision of the TMS320F28377D? I can only get it to convert at 12bit even if I use 16bit settings. I spent several hours and I cannot see whether I missed anything. The ADCRESULT register is always at midpoint 2048 (for both differential inputs at 1.25V). It should be 32768. The ADCCTL SIGNALMODE and RESOLUTION bits are both set to 1. I also measured the conversion time and it is consistent with the 12bit conversion timing (10.5 ADCCLKs). Is there any errata or suggestions to what might be causing this?
